The 2025 National Golden Gloves Tournament of Champions will be held in Tulsa, Oklahoma from May 11–18, 2025
Boxers Qualifications
WEIGHTS:
Weight classes apply to Novice and Elite Boxers. Only Elite boxers will advance to the National Golden Gloves. Twenty (20) weight classes will be contested at the National Tournament. Non-citizens of the US are eligible to compete in the 2025 Regional and National Tournaments.

BOXER AGE REQUIREMENTS:
Boxers ages 18 thru 40 are eligible to participate. All boxers must be at lease 18 years of age prior to competing in ANY Golden Gloves advancing event and not yet 41 before May 18th, 2025.
BOUT REQUIREMENTS:
OPEN boxers must have a total of ten (10) bouts listed in Matchtracker to register for the UMGG Regional tournaments. Novice boxers 0-9 bouts. Elite boxers will box 3/3’s, Novice will box 3/2’s
ACCOMODATIONS:
Open boxers and designated Regional Coaches (by Regional Director) will be provided a shared room.
MISCELLANEOUS:
Uniforms: We HIGHLY recommend that boxers have a blue and red uniform for this tournament. This is not required. Please refer to the attached documents for restrictions on uniforms.
Boxing Equipment: ONLY OPEN FACE USA Boxing Approved headgear will be allowed.
Boxers that do not box in the Upper Midwest Tournament will need a .4% ratio of win to loss boxing record for the UMGG to pay travel and accommodations to the National Golden Gloves Tournament. Boxers that box in the UMGG Championship Tournament that advance to the National Golden Gloves will receive a championship belt.
National Golden Gloves will be held in Tulsa, Oklahoma. Boxers must arrive Saturday, May 10th, competition is Monday, May 12th – Saturday, May 17th 2025.
Registration
Online registration is now available for the Upper Midwest Golden Gloves (UMGG) Tournaments, registration will end March 14th, 2025 at 5pm CST.
Registration is required for Elite and Novice boxers as well as coaches that wish to participate in this advancing tournament.
You must register to the Upper Midwest Golden Gloves Tournament to be eligible for the Region I, II, III and IV tournaments. Boxers that win at the regional level advance to the UMGG Championship Tournament held April 18th & 19th in St. Cloud, advancing boxers will then compete at the National Golden Gloves Tournament held May 10-18th , 2025, in Tulsa, Oklahoma.
